*After being volunteer in the hostel for a month, I and my partner, Özge, traveled to Germany and France. Then, we finished our lovely journey in Europe.

*Working in the hostel means getting new friends from all over the world, even in a short period and enjoying the time together with them, even during the work time. In this photo, we celebrate the success of me and my friend in preparing and serving our first breakfast in the hostel.

*Working in the hostel also means sharing meal times with guests in the hostel from all over the world and getting to know other cultures’ cuisines and having a chance to introduce your culture to them. A kind of cultural interaction and exchange happen and it creates a friendly athmosphere in the hostel. In this photo, Japanese guests cooked «Miso Soup», a special Japanese soup, for us :)

Being volunteer in a hostel means enjoying leisure times and nights out and joining cultural events in the city with your co-workers or guests in the hostel. In the photo on the right side, we went to Cultural Firework Festival in Scheveningen in Den Haag.

* In the hostel, I shared the same room with other guests. I had many roommates and we had conversation and good memories together. The most emotional part was when the time to leave came. In those times, I got presents and notes from my lovely roommates. :)

They were all friendly.

*In free times, I discovered the city, Den Haag. I enjoyed the canals, nature, historical places.
